ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The tree has medium vigor and an upright habit with semi-pendulous branches. The leaves are elliptic-lanceolate and dark green in color. Flowering is late; the variety is prone to alternate bearing and is partially self-compatible, requiring pollinators such as Termite di Bitetto, Sant'Agostino, and Mele.
The fruits are very large, weighing 11–18 grams, with an elongated-elliptic shape and dense, fleshy pulp accounting for up to 80% of the volume. The skin is covered with visible lenticels. The flesh separates with difficulty from the pit; the Seville method with an alkaline solution is traditionally used for processing.
The variety demonstrates medium-low resistance to cold, drought, and fungal diseases such as peacock spot and olive knot. At the same time, resistance to the olive fruit fly is rated as medium-high.
