The CORBERANA variety is traditional to Catalonia and is included in the local catalog of varieties maintained by the regional government. It is not classified as a result of breeding programs but is recognized as part of the genetic and cultural heritage of the region.

Currently, the variety is considered rare and is found in limited quantities. Its fruits are traditionally used in local oil production, however, detailed agronomic characteristics and specific organoleptic indicators of the products are not available in public sources.
