Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is characterized by a dense spreading crown and strong drooping branches. The fruits have an ellipsoid shape and a weight of about 6–8 grams. The flesh is fleshy and aromatic, containing a large amount of polyphenols, due to which the fruits have a slight bitterness that disappears upon full ripening, when the color changes to black.

The variety matures in the period from September to November. The plant is well adapted to local weather conditions but lacks frost resistance. According to field studies, the variety is susceptible to infection by the bacterium Xylella fastidiosa and olive knot disease.
