The Lianolia Kerkiras variety is a very tall tree, reaching an average of 12–14 meters, and in some cases up to 20–25 meters. The leaves of the plant are large and dark green on the upper side.

The fruits have a cylindrical-conical shape and ripen from late autumn to early winter. The variety is valued for the high oil content in the fruits, which is about 19%.

This variety is the main one for the island of Corfu, and is also found in the regions of Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Lefkada, Preveza, and Thesprotia. The plant is considered hardy.
