The tree has medium vigor and a spreading crown of medium density. The fruits are ovoid in shape and turn blue-black upon full maturity. The flowering period occurs in June, and harvesting is carried out from the second ten-day period of October to the beginning of November.
The variety is characterized by alternate bearing and a moderate oil yield of about 16%. The plant has high resistance to cold, drought, olive fruit fly, peacock spot, and olive scab.
The oil is characterized by a balanced bitter-spicy taste with herbaceous notes and hints of artichoke. The product features low acidity, a high concentration of polyphenols, and resistance to oxidation.
