The Picual variety tree is characterized by vigorous growth and short branches. The medium-sized leaves have an elongated shape and a characteristic whitish hue, which led to the name Nevado Blanco. The fruits are medium or large, weighing about 3.2 g, with a characteristic pointed tip called a peak.
The variety is characterized by high early yield and a high oil output, reaching 27% of the fruit mass. The plant has good frost resistance and high endurance, but it poorly tolerates prolonged drought and calcareous soils. It is used primarily for oil production due to its high resistance to oxidation.
