The Ogliastrina variety is a local olive cultivar characteristic of the Ogliastra region on the island of Sardinia. Trees of this variety are distinguished by their hardiness and ability to adapt to complex landscapes and rocky soils, with centuries-old specimens often encountered.

The fruits of the variety are used to obtain Extra Virgin olive oil, which is characterized by its full body and high polyphenol content. The organoleptic profile of the oil includes notes of freshly cut grass, green apple, artichoke, almond, and Mediterranean herbs with a moderate bitterness.
