The tree has medium vigor and a spreading canopy. The leaves are elliptical in shape and medium in size. Large fruit weighing 4.5–5 g have a symmetrical spherical shape with a rounded tip, sometimes with a small protrusion. The surface of the fruit is covered with lenticels; upon ripening, the color becomes uniformly black.
The variety is late-maturing; harvesting takes place from December to January. The plant is characterized as hardy, with moderate resistance to peacock spot, olive fruit fly, and olive knot.
The fruit is used for oil production and as table olives. The oil is characterized by a medium fruity aroma and a specific bitter-piquant taste due to a high oleuropein content.
