Trees of this variety have medium to medium-low vigor, an open drooping canopy, and a silvery-white hue on young shoots. The olives are large, weighing over 5 g, and acquire a light purple color upon ripening. The variety is early-maturing, with fruits beginning to ripen in September.
The variety is partially self-fertile; Bosana and Tonda di Cagliari are recommended as pollinators. Yield is high, but there is a tendency toward alternate bearing. The plant is characterized by low resistance to peacock spot, olive fruit fly, and olive knot.
The fruits easily lose bitterness during processing, which determines their high value as table olives. Oil yield is medium or low, therefore the variety is rarely used for oil production and is not intended for intensive orchards.
