Variety description

10 August 2026

The Ogliastro di Castellammare di Stabia variety is a local olive variety common in the Italian region of Campania. There are mentions linking its origin to the territory of the Salerno region.

This variety is included in olive germplasm catalogs, however, detailed agronomic and morphological characteristics are absent in open sources. The purpose of the fruit is also not detailed, and the name itself historically indicates a connection with wild or feral forms of olive.
