The plant has an ascending growth habit with a spreading crown. The variety is characterized as "rustic," distinguished by good productivity and resistance to pests and diseases. Trees of this ancient variety are often centuries old.

The harvest is gathered in the first week of October; crown formation using the polyconic vase method is used for tree maintenance. The oil of the variety possesses an intense fruity aroma with notes of fresh almond, herbaceous shades, nuances of artichoke and tomato, as well as a medium degree of bitterness and pungency.
