The tree is characterized by an open or semi-erect crown, which allows the variety to be used in intensive and super-intensive plantings. The fruits are small, oval, and often asymmetric in shape; the oil content in them ranges from 18 to 25 percent. The fruit ripening period is classified as early to medium.
The variety possesses resistance to drought and the fungal disease peacock spot, but is susceptible to verticillium wilt and olive knot. The variety is not adapted to severe frosts. The oil is characterized by storage stability and a high content of polyphenols and oleic acid.
