The fruits of this variety are very small, and the oil is characterized by a high content of polyphenols and oleic acid, excellent taste, and stability. The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of up to 10 meters and is often pruned in intensive cultivation systems.

The variety belongs to the early or mid-season maturity groups. Yield is high but periodic in nature. The plant is distinguished by high drought tolerance and adaptability to poor soils, although it is sensitive to certain diseases, such as olive knot (Pseudomonas savastanoi).
