Variety description

10 August 2026

The SERVIGLIANE PICCOLE variety, also known by the synonyms Corsicana da olio, Sivigliana da olio, Corsicano and Olivo corso, is traditionally grown in the province of Sassari on the island of Sardinia. It is a late-maturing variety whose fruits ripen in the period from November to December.

The plant has a dense crown and high productivity with stable fruiting. The fruits are medium-sized and are used primarily for olive oil production. Due to its dense vegetative mass, the trees are used to create windbreaks along the perimeter of olive groves.
