The Servigliane variety, also known as Sivigliana or Servigliane piccole, is widespread mainly in the Sassari area of Sardinia. The tree has a thick and dense canopy, which allows it to be used for creating hedges and protecting other plantings from the wind.
This variety is late-maturing; harvesting of medium-sized fruits is carried out in November–December. Depending on regional characteristics, there are forms for both strictly oil-production and dual-purpose use.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
