The Toscanella di Castelvenere variety is characterized by medium and stable productivity. Biologically, the tree is self-incompatible, therefore it requires the presence of pollinator varieties to produce a yield.
The fruits of this variety contain a low level of oil. Due to these characteristics, the variety is rarely used as a monovarietal crop, more often being included in blends for olive oil production.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
