ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The variety originates from the Sub-Appennino Dauno area in Puglia. Genetic studies indicate its closeness to the Peranzana, Provenzale, Dritta, and Torremaggiore varieties, which may be linked to the introduction of olives from Provence at the end of the 18th century.
In the course of scientific research, the variety was classified as highly susceptible to the pathogen Xylella fastidiosa, which causes olive quick decline syndrome. In the analysis of the oil composition of this variety, specific parameters were recorded, in particular, a minimal level of stigmasterol.
