CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 2.5–3 meters, and forms a dense crown of spherical or pyramidal shape. Fruits of small or medium size weighing 100–150 g have an oblong-elongated shape and thin yellow skin, on which a delicate blush may appear under sunlight.
The flesh of the fruit is white, granular, juicy and melting. The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness, resistance to scab and codling moth, as well as low fruit shedding. The variety is a dessert type, unsuitable for long-term storage, and has historically been used for the preparation of glazed pears in confectionery production.
