The variety was created at the Field Crops Institute in Chirpan using intraspecific hybridization and traditional selection schemes. In modern studies, it often serves as an object for investigating genetic diversity and the influence of fertilizers, precursors, and growth regulators on yield and grain quality indicators.

The variety belongs to genotypes with weak gluten, which is confirmed by the analysis of gliadin fractions: the expression of gamma-42 is associated with lower gluten strength indicators compared to varieties possessing gamma-45 markers. In field trials, the variety demonstrates stable yield, and it has also been studied for its responsiveness to the application of retardants to increase lodging resistance.
