ActiveVitis L. · Grapevine

10 August 2026
The vines have medium vigor; the root system is predominantly superficial and creeping. The variety is adapted to calcareous soils, tolerating up to 40% total limestone, but performs poorly in heavy soils. Tolerance to drought, salinity, and waterlogging is characterized as medium.
Grafting onto this rootstock promotes the acceleration of the vegetation cycle and early ripening of the scion. The rooting ability of cuttings is satisfactory, however, the processing procedure is complicated by the presence of a large number of tendrils. In recent years, the use of the variety has been limited due to the spread of a syndrome causing abnormal thickening of the trunk and roots.
