The 13-5 Evex variety is a rootstock and is not intended for berry production. It originates from Berlandieri Resseguier № 2.
It is used on specific soil types, including calcareous ones, to combat chlorosis. Studies show the variety's potential for adaptation to saline soils and water deficit, as well as its influence on increasing the yield of the scion.
