Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Vitis solonis and Vitis riparia. The tip of the young shoot is yellowish-green with a copper hue, has sparse cobwebby pubescence and dense bristles. The one-year-old shoot is of medium thickness, light brown with a chestnut hue.

The leaves are large, pentagonal, entire, with three elongated tips. The upper surface is dark green with a metallic luster; the leaf blade is corrugated. The flower is functionally male; few inflorescences are formed.

The variety possesses high resistance to phylloxera and a good response to salt and water deficiency. Resistance to lime in the soil is up to 15%. The rooting of cuttings is satisfactory; the variety is used to regulate the growth vigor of the scion.
