Variety description

The variety is a rootstock with a male flower type that does not form clusters and is not intended for berry production. The bushes are characterized by strong growth with shoots 4–4.5 meters long, which is transferred to the varieties grafted onto it. Rootstock cuttings have a weak rooting capacity, but show satisfactory graft compatibility with most scion varieties.

The plant demonstrates high drought tolerance and adaptability to poor soils. It is resistant to the root form of phylloxera and the main fungal diseases of grapevines, and also has moderate resistance to nematodes. Limitations for use are soils with a high content of active lime and waterlogging. Due to the long growing season, the rootstock may delay the ripening of canes and fruit of grafted varieties.
