Variety description

The variety is a rootstock obtained by crossing Couderc 1616 and Vitis rupestris. The leaf is medium, reniform, entire, with a widely open petiole sinus in the shape of a curly bracket. The flower is functionally male.

The plant is distinguished by pronounced growth vigor. The productivity of the vine for cuttings is rated as low; there is also observed a weak ability of the cuttings to root and weakened affinity when grafted with some varieties.

The variety exhibits resistance to soil salinity and high active lime content. It possesses medium resistance to chlorosis and tolerates drought well, although under certain conditions, weak adaptation to dry soils is possible if there is a precipitation deficit in winter.
