Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Vitis vinifera (variety Cabernet-Sauvignon) and Vitis berlandieri. It is used as a rootstock for grafting grape varieties, possessing a high degree of affinity with many scions.

Morphologically, the variety is characterized by small, round, three-lobed leaves and shoots of uneven thickness with a large number of lateral shoots. The plant's growth vigor is low.

Due to the presence of Vitis vinifera genes, resistance to frost and phylloxera is lower than that of purely American species, while the variety demonstrates high resistance to chlorosis.
