Variety description

The variety is a rootstock with a male flower type that does not form clusters. The bushes have medium vigor, contributing to the restraint of growth of vigorous scions, which promotes flower bud initiation and accelerates scion ripening.

The plant possesses high resistance to the root form of phylloxera and fungal diseases, medium resistance to the leaf form of phylloxera, and moderate resistance to nematodes. It is well-adapted to calcareous soils containing up to 30% active lime, however, it poorly tolerates waterlogging, heavy, acidic, and arid soils.

The variety is characterized by poor rooting of cuttings and sometimes satisfactory graft compatibility. The shoots reach a length of 2.5–3 m and have a dark green color with red-violet nodes. The leaves are heart-shaped, three-lobed, and dark green in color.
