The variety Bašćan (synonyms: Brajda velika, Sušac, Sušić, Stara brajda, Crna brajda, Paška) is a wine grape with dark berries. The first mentions of it in historical documents date back to the mid-19th century.
In modern classification, the variety is categorized as vulnerable, which is linked to a lack of genetic resistance to Phylloxera and a reduction in plantings. At present, the variety is preserved in genetic collections, and detailed agrotechnical characteristics are limited.
