The variety is a color mutation of the red variety Trousseau Noir (Bastardo). It is registered in international catalogs as a wine grape variety with pink berries, while in morphological descriptions it is often grouped with the original form due to a common genetic basis.
The vines are characterized by medium or below-medium vigor, small, dense, cylindrical-conical bunches, and small berries. The variety has a medium ripening period and is characterized by a temperamental nature: it possesses low resistance to fungal diseases, frosts, and waterlogging.
With improper canopy management, the berries are susceptible to gray mold or excessive shriveling under the influence of the sun. Under favorable conditions, the variety demonstrates high sugar content in the juice, reaching values of 25–28 g/100 cm³.
