The variety is vigorous and characterized by powerful shoot development. It possesses high resistance to the root form of phylloxera and excellent drought tolerance. The plant develops well on stony, dry, and calcareous soils, however, it is unsuitable for cultivation on wet and heavy soils.

In nursery production, the variety is distinguished by poor rooting, which requires the use of special propagation methods. When used as a rootstock, the variety promotes good fruit set but can cause a delay in the ripening of the scion, which affects the accumulation of acidity in the berries.
