The vine has high growth vigor. The leaf is rounded, deeply lobed, three- or five-lobed, with anthocyanin coloration of the veins at the base. The cluster is medium-sized, conical, and compact. The berries are small, dark blue with a thick waxy bloom, and have a thin skin and juicy pulp.
The variety is mid-late and has a very high yield. It is drought-tolerant, relatively resistant to downy mildew and gray mold, but susceptible to powdery mildew and mites. The grapes are used to produce wines intended for early consumption.
