The variety has ancient origins, presumably from France or Switzerland. It is distinguished by high adaptability to various conditions, however, the productivity and quality of the harvest directly depend on the terroir. The variety belongs to the early maturity group.
As a representative of the species Vitis vinifera, the plant does not possess high complex resistance to phylloxera and common fungal diseases such as downy mildew and powdery mildew, therefore it requires standard agrotechnical care.
Wines produced from this grape are characterized as delicate and refreshing, with pronounced minerality and light floral notes.
