The variety is a hybrid of Vitis berlandieri and Vitis riparia. The plant has medium to above-average vigor and is intended to increase the yield of grafted varieties.
The rootstock demonstrates high resistance to the root form of phylloxera and medium drought tolerance. The variety is well-suited for cultivation on heavy, marly, and calcareous soils, characterized by medium resistance to chlorosis with an active lime content of about 17%.
