The variety is a specialized rootstock with male-type flowers that does not produce a crop. The plant is vigorous, with shoot lengths that can reach 4 meters. The root system is powerful and deep.

It is distinguished by high tolerance to active lime, withstanding up to 50% of total carbonates, as well as resistance to saline soils and drought. It poorly tolerates waterlogging and spring flooding. It possesses high resistance to root phylloxera and fungal diseases.

It is characterized by a long vegetative period, which may delay the ripening of the vine and the crop of grafted varieties. The rooting of cuttings during propagation is poor, which requires the use of special agrotechnical methods.
