Clairette B. is an ancient grape variety traditionally cultivated in the south of France. The vine has medium vigor with semi-erect shoots. Leaves are medium-sized, five-lobed, with dense tomentose pubescence on the underside.

Bunches are medium-sized, conical or cylindrical-conical in shape, often loose. Berries are small or medium, ovoid-oval, greenish-yellow in color, acquiring a golden hue at full maturity.

Late-ripening variety, well-adapted to hot and arid conditions, prefers poor limestone soils. Relatively resistant to powdery mildew and botrytis bunch rot, but sensitive to downy mildew and pests. Yield is generally low; requires careful handling due to a tendency for rapid oxidation after harvest.
