The Esganinho B variety is a white wine grape of Portuguese origin. The letter B in the name indicates the category Branco, which means the variety belongs to the group with white berries.
In historical and ampelographic literature, the names Esganinho, Esganoso, and Sercial are considered independent varieties. Although historically the Esgana group of names could have been used to denote various vines, they are clearly separated in modern registries.
