The variety is intended for wine production and is distinguished by very high acidity, which imparts structure and freshness to the wines. The yield of the variety is estimated as medium.
The plant belongs to late-ripening varieties and is characterized by susceptibility to grey mold. In the Portuguese classification, the designation B indicates the white color of the berries.
