Clone P.120 was selected by specialists from the Research Institute for Viticulture and Enology in Pécs as part of a program working with the Furmint variety, which is key for the Tokaj region. At present, the official registration process has been initiated for this clone.

Studies of this clone focus on the analysis of enological characteristics, including aromatic compounds, genomic differences, phenological phases, vegetative growth, and fertility. The size and weight of bunches and berries may vary depending on the conditions of the harvest year, while the relative differences between clones remain stable.
