The variety belongs to the category of teinturier grape varieties, in which pigments are contained not only in the skin but also in the berry pulp. It is a wine grape variety intended for the production of red wines and for use in blends.
Morphologically, the variety is characterized by small berries and dense bunches. It is part of the collection of Hungarian varieties for high-quality winemaking and is currently in cultivation.
