The Kamenina variety, also known by the synonym Hrvatica, originates from the Croatian Littoral region and is traditionally grown on the island of Krk. It is a wine grape variety used by winemakers both as a varietal wine and in blends.
The plant belongs to black grape varieties according to international classification. The variety is included in official lists of grapes authorized for production in Croatia and is represented in genetic resource collections.
