The variety is identified as the local name for the grape known in the Canary Islands as Listán Blanco, and in the Spanish Jerez as Palomino Fino. The letter B in the name indicates that the variety belongs to white varieties.

The plant has dark green leaves and long cylindrical bunches. The medium-sized berries have thin yellowish-green skin, colorless juice, and moderate sweetness. Wines from this variety are characterized by pronounced minerality and salinity.

In the conditions of the Madeira archipelago, traditional low training is used for the vine, which allows protecting the plants from strong winds. The variety is considered hardy and requires the application of copper and sulfur for disease prevention.
