The variety has a medium ripening period and medium vine vigor. It is high-yielding and characterized by high resistance to drought, heat, and gray mold. It shows moderate susceptibility to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and esca disease.

The grapes are used exclusively in winemaking. The wines possess a light or medium body, soft tannins, and aromas of red berries with spicy and earthy notes. Both traditional methods and carbonic maceration are used in production.
