Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the Alphonse Lavallée and Lignan black varieties. The vines are characterized by very vigorous growth and a "prostrate" type of shoot, which makes the use of metal trellises preferable. Long pruning is recommended for optimal development.

Bunches are smaller than average in size and moderately compact. The berries are medium-sized, round or elliptical in shape, and covered with skin of moderate thickness. The pulp is of medium density, juicy, and has a simple taste. The variety is prone to ovary shedding and berry cracking.

The plant is sensitive to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and mites, while having low susceptibility to gray mold. The harvest is characterized by uniformity of color, good keeping quality, and suitability for transportation.
