Pintes B.M.1 is a clone of an ancient Hungarian autochthonous grape variety. The purpose of the variety is technical; it is intended for winemaking. Precise agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group or disease resistance, for this clone are not presented in open sources.
Wines produced from this grape possess a distinct flavor profile, including floral notes, grapefruit notes, and specific chalky tones. It is noted that the Pintes variety in general may encounter difficulties during grafting in nursery conditions.
