Variety description

Young shoots of the variety have dense pubescence, with green internodes and red stripes. Mature leaves are round, 5- or 7-lobed, with a U-shaped petiolar sinus and a blistered surface. Bunches are large, cylindrical and loose, with medium-sized, oval-shaped berries.

The variety belongs to the mid-late group: buds open late, and berry ripening occurs four and a half weeks after Chasselas. It is characterized by high yield and fertility. It adapts well to various soil types, including clay and sandy soils, and is drought tolerant.

The variety is extremely susceptible to grey mold and powdery mildew. It prefers a warm Mediterranean climate. Short pruning is recommended for cultivation.
