The variety is a product of an accidental cross. Young shoots have a medium to high density of prostrate hairs on the tip; young leaves are yellow-green. Mature leaves are rounded in shape, with five, seven, or nine lobes, a closed petiolar sinus, and moderate pubescence on the underside. Berries are round.
The plant has medium vigor, good fertility, and a semi-erect or erect canopy type. The variety is well adapted to short pruning. Sensitivity to downy mildew and moderate susceptibility to grey mold are noted.
