Variety description

The variety is a complex hybrid involving several grape species. The vines are medium-growing, with cuneate five-lobed leaves without pubescence and bisexual flowers. Clusters are medium-sized, cylindro-conical, and of medium density. Berries are small, black, with a waxy bloom and pulpy-juicy flesh.

The variety belongs to the PIWI category due to its high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and grey mold. Seedlings are characterized by poor rooting ability, brittle shoots, and a tendency for berries to shatter upon ripening. It is used for the production of light dark-red wines with fruity notes.
