Variety description

The variety belongs to the technical (wine) types. The plant's shoots are thin and have sparse foliage. Leaves are medium-sized, ovate, 3- or 5-lobed, deeply dissected, with a characteristic yellowish border along the edge of the teeth. Flowers are bisexual.

Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape, often winged, and dense. Berries are small or medium, round, light green with dark dots, and covered with a firm skin; the flesh is very juicy. The variety requires protection against powdery mildew, downy mildew, and grey mold.

It is used for the production of light, high-acid dry white wines, sparkling wines, as well as high-quality late-harvest sweet wines.
