The variety is a clone of the Vitis vinifera ssp. sativa species intended for use as a wine grape variety. Products obtained from this clone are potentially suitable for the protected geographical indication wine category.
During studies, the clone demonstrated moderate tolerance to black rot (7.2% infection rate). The variety was also mentioned among those that showed the lowest degree of downy mildew infection under plantation conditions.
