Variety description

The variety is medium-vigorous. The leaves are coarse, heavily wrinkled, often funnel-shaped; shoots and leaf petioles often have a reddish tint. Clusters are loose, berries are small, golden-yellow with brown spots.
The plant has good resistance to cold and harsh winters, but demonstrates low resistance to phylloxera, powdery mildew, and bacterial crown gall. The variety is highly susceptible to grey mold and is prone to shedding of flowers, ovaries, and berry shot.
This is an exclusively wine variety. Wines made from it are distinguished by high acidity, potential for long aging, and characteristic aromas of citrus, apple, and peach, which can be complemented by mineral and petroleum notes during aging.
