The variety was obtained by crossing Merzling and (SV 12-375 × Pinot gris), and contains genetic material from the species Vitis berlandieri, Vitis lincecumii, Vitis rupestris, and Vitis vinifera. The bush is characterized by above-average vigor and good cane maturation. Leaves are rounded, slightly dissected; the flower is bisexual.
Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical or cylindro-conical, of medium density. Berries are small, white, with thin skin and a neutral taste. The variety is characterized by high productivity and the ability to produce up to 3 inflorescences per shoot, which requires cluster thinning.
The variety possesses resistance to Botrytis cinerea and powdery mildew, with a medium level of resistance to downy mildew. Winter hardiness of the variety is limited, requiring covering for the winter. Wines produced from it have a yellow-green color and characteristic vegetal notes.
